I am very pleased to announce Senseless, the first official release from Noxious Upsurge Records. This is a 5 point assault on all of your senses from a who's who of the queer noise scene. Straight Panic, Dysphoria, Glass Spitter, Monolithic Torment, & Pain Chain. I hand picked these other 4 artists to be a part of this as they inspire me and drive me to be on my game every time I make noise.
This endeavor was inspired by the novel/horror movie Senseless, which I am clearly a huge fan of. I gave the artists a quick rundown of the concept and assigned them a sense to destroy through 10 minute noise tracks.
I highly recommend checking out the movie if you're into psychological / gory torture horror goodness.

A surprisingly sensitive work that is let down by the ill-judged title. The delicacy of instrumentation is matched only by the Enya-esque washes of synth and warmth of the female vocals. Anyone expecting a collection of audio-verité recordings of our hero banging the named ladies in the song titles whilst squalls of noise soundtrack proceedings is going to be very disappointed indeed.
